Our Sunday School is based on the theory of
multiple intelligences.
We provide a rotational series of lessons
each month. Children from pre-school through
high school
are engaged in activities and
learning situations that grow
their understanding and their faith.
Sunday School is held September through May from
10:30AM-11:30AM
Kairos Zone
(kindergarten through sixth grade) offers
four centers. Each month children explore a
theme based
on a Bible story or concept, but they do this in
four
different, brain-based learning environments.
Pre-Nursery Class
for 2-4 year olds uses a
Bible Story Curriculum, teaching Bible stories.

The Temple Room
Children live the theme through games,
movement, music, team building, etc.,
developed through storytelling experiences.
The Market Place
Children explore the theme through art media,
making projects and creating murals, posters, etc.
that depict the stories.

Nomadic Cinema
Children respond to videos and create their own
videos and dramas based on Biblical themes.

World View
Children use computer software tied to the theme
to learn the messages of the Bible stories.

High School
Students discuss current events and how they impact our lives.
Breakfast served at Caffe Helix.
