There are various groups that meet at St. John each
month.
You're sure to find an activity and age group that
fits your style!
You are welcome to join them at any time!
Just call the church office, 235-2824, and we will
connect you with their chairperson.

HELIX - YOUTH
FELLOWSHIP
Come meet Kevin Eckert, our Director of Children and Youth Ministries.
The youth groups meet during the week and on Sunday evenings.
We have extended our groups to include the 6th graders.
The 6th through 8th graders will meet from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings
and the 9th - 12th graders will meet from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday evenings.
Helix provides an open invitation to youth free from the stresses of
school,
family issues, social pressures and any other stresses that trouble teens today,
providing fun, friendship and personal development, while having a good time.
We will meet every Wednesday and Sunday evening in the Youth Lounge.
Higher Grounds
Jr. High mentoring and Fellowship
We meet most Saturdays at 9am for a time of mentoring and exploration of the
Christian Faith.
At 10am till 11am we gather for a time of fellowship.
Core
Core is one of the
newest groups we have created for Jr. High Students here at St. John.
This group is for
students who want to become Disciples.
This Discipleship group
meets on Saturday Nights from 6 to 8pm.
This group will do
various activities designed to bring them closer together as friends and it will
also give
them the
opportunity to explore who Christ is and how we can follow His example of living
life.

CARD CLUB
Meets the 1st Monday of the month
at 1:00 for friendly games of euchre.
All are invited.
$.50 fee. Prizes awarded. Fellowship and treats.
CHANCEL CHOIR
Our choir rehearses every Thursday evening at 7:30,
Sept. - May
under the direction of Teresa Green.
They sing a variety of music, from contemporary to
old-time favorite hymns.
CHANCEL BELL CHOIR
Our Chancel Bells meets on Thursday evenings at 6:15 p.m.
Sept. - May
Teresa Green will be
leading us this year.
PAIRS & SPARES
This group is for couples and singles in their retirement years.
RESOURCE GROUP
Join in on
Thursday mornings at 9 a.m. for coffee, treats, friendship,
& to do volunteer
work! About once a month we go out for
breakfast or lunch to celebrate whoever’s birthday
is that month.
STITCH SEW & QUILT
The Sew, Stitch and
Quilt group will not meet during the summer months.
TAU ALPHA CIRCLE
This group meets on
the third Monday of the month.
`TWEENagers
This group meets when they feel the need for
service and activities.
This group is for couples and singles in the (between ages)
- don’t need a baby-sitter anymore, but like to travel and be active.
Please watch for
announcements of future activities.
YAHOOs
The Young at Hearts, OOH.
Couples and singles in the mid-thirties? Up to?
A fun-loving group that gets together for fellowship and service.
